Shahnaz Husain Suggests Foods For Young And Glowing Skin This Summer
A great deal of research on nutrition has been done, and today, we have a strong case in favour of "natural foods". This is not a new thing.
Even ancient sages of India put a high value on naturally derived food items, that is, those who can be eaten raw and which are unrefined and unproductive.
Fresh fruits, raw salads, sprouted cereals and pulses, nuts (unsalted), seeds, and yoghurt fall under the category of natural foods. They should be a major part of the daily diet, refined sugars and fat reductions.
There is no doubt that natural foods can improve your skin's health by keeping your skin hydrated and young for long periods of time.

By eating natural foods regularly your skin becomes shiny and young. Therefore, keeping an eye on what you eat and drink is very important.
Reduce consumption of fat, sugar and red meat. As far as possible, one part of your daily diet should be fresh fruits and vegetables.
Curd is healthy food for your skin, while skimmed milk and cheese can also be included.
Vegetables should be lightly cooked. Eat green leafy vegetables such as spinach and salad. Fruit and vegetable juices, freshly extracted and diluted with water, are ideal for your skin
A healthy, balanced diet that supplies essential nutrients to the body, promotes good health and beauty.
Your diet should include more seasonal fruits and vegetables. In summers, when the loss of fluid in our body is high, then eat summer fruits such as watermelon, watermelon, cucumber and so on - all of which are high in water quantity.
By taking enough water and liquids, blood circulation is promoted, so that the skin remains hydrated and the toxins and wastes are cleaned.
On the other hand, improper eradication of waste or toxic substances from our body is reflected on the skin and it looks sluggish and lifeless.
Apart from this, it is important to follow a low salt diet. A congested skin that looks puffy due to water retention and can lose its youthful quality.
The best way to kick-start your morning is by adding a lemon juice to it and drink a glass of water - this will keep your skin shining and hydrated.
Avoid drinking aerated drinks and drink more fresh fruit juice. In summers, instead of a hot cup tea, drink lemon iced tea, net casserole, lassi or buttermilk, and instead of sugar-rich sweets, eat yoghurt with honey or fresh fruits.
Your skin problems should be taken seriously because they will not help you hide from your makeup.
Ayurveda also recommends incorporating fresh, organic, nutritious foods into our diet because they not only contribute to good health but also promote the health of our skin. Beauty is not just about the way you see it, but it is also how you feel.
