Spa at home: Homemade mask to rejuvenate hands

The skin on our hands is extremely sensitive and very thin. We always need to treat it with special care. There are many factors that can harm our skin.

Some of them are: chemicals, exposure to sun, strong wind etc. Our skin starts losing softness and starts having stains. Something that can be of great help are the homemade treatments and remedies.

In this article, we divided 3 options into 3 stages: preparation, then softening and in the end, hydration. Your hands will be rejuvenated instantly!

It’s a type of home spa that will help you against the effects from external factors and also aging. All of these treatments are economical and very effective.

The ingredients are easily available or you may have them at your kitchen now.

1st treatment

Combine 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and 1 drop of tea tree essential oil with 2 tablespoons of sea salt.

Massage your hands using this mixture, from your wrist towards the fingertips. After this, prepare a mask made of egg yolk.

You need 1 yolk, several drops of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Stir it well. Massage your hands with it for several minutes. After that, rinse them with plenty of warm water. This treatment should be done at night. You mustn’t be exposed to sun. You’ll notice the difference immediately.

2nd treatment

This is an amazing citrus vitamins cocktail for skin rejuvenation. It will also regain the elasticity of your skin.

You need a pinch of cinnamon powder, the juice of 1 lemon, a pinch of sodium bicarbonate and several drops of grapefruit essential oil. Stir this well and then, massage your hands with it. Leave it to stay on them for 5 or 7 minutes

After this, combine 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 spoonful of crushed orange peel, 2 tablespoons of ginger powder and 1 teaspoon of sugar.

Put it on a sponge or brush and then, apply it on your skin with massaging circular movements. It will exfoliate them.

In the end, combine a teaspoon of sesame oil, a pinch of red pepper and the juice of an orange.

Stir everything well and put it on your hands. After 5 minutes, rinse your hands with plenty of water. It would be better to do it under running water. If you want to have the best results, put almond oil on your hands in the end.

3rd treatment

Combine some mint with a little bit of warm water and some rosemary oil. Mix it and then add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Apply it on your hands and leave it to rest for 5 minutes.

After this, you need to exfoliate your hands. Combine a pinch of baking soda, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of rose water and 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil.

Massage your hands with this mixture. If you want to obtain a lot of moisture, combine 1 tablespoon of Vaseline, 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 grated green apple. Put the mixture on your hands. Leave it to stay on for 10 minutes. Rinse it away with plenty of warm water. Apply some moisturizer afterwards.

Important:

It would be better for you to perform an allergy test before you use any of the recipes. Put it on a small area on your skin. Then, wait for several minutes. If there isn’t a reaction, apply them regularly.
