Low Fat Breakfast - Doesn't Have To Be Hard. Read These Choices!

The word Breakfast came from breaking the fast. As the word suggests, in the morning after overnight fasting, eating meal breaks the fast. This is the major meal for the whole day as it gives alertness, necessary energy, and nutrition to the whole body to function the entire day. A healthy and balanced breakfast provide the goodness to the body to work properly the day ahead. It lowers the feeling of hunger and can make one more physically active while poor breakfast can lead to lethargy and poor health. 

Low-fat breakfast is in one of the healthy breakfasts that one can follow when wishing to lose weight or going for healthy eating choices. The best way to feel full and absorb the necessary nutrients is to add carbohydrates, protein, and fibres in the breakfast. Choose carbohydrates wisely!.

Low Fat Breakfast Ideas:

If someone is on a low-fat diet and wants to eat a low-fat breakfast in the morning then they can go for the following choices.

French Toast:

French toasts taste good and are also low fat breakfast when made by egg white and dairy-free milk. For two-slice servings, in a bowl, mix 1 egg white, a few drops of vanilla essence (optional), 1/4 cup of dairy-free milk. Beat them well. Now dip bread in the mixture and then place it over the non-stick skillet. Brown each side and serve with fruit syrup. Low-Fat Pancakes

Oat pancakes are low in fat as compared to traditional pancake breakfasts. In oat pancakes, healthy ingredients are used. Fruits and egg white are key ingredients in it as an alternative to sugar and fat. So for syrup use fruits generously and any sweet fruit can be chosen for this purpose. Egg white helps in binding the oats and fruits chunk so as to give it a proper shape.

Pumpkin Oatmeal:

Oatmeal is best for the breakfast and it's incredibly nutritious. Oats are packed with antioxidants. Eating a meal rich in antioxidants in the morning helps the body fighting from free radicals. For adding flavour, one can add pumpkin puree into it. Pumpkin puree is high in Vitamin A and antioxidants that reduce the risk of chronic diseases - best to boost the immune system. It's easy to make low-fat pumpkin oatmeal breakfast and can be eaten in the morning or when one feels peckish.

Omelet Without Egg Yolk:

Omelet is famous for its nutrients and a kick start of the day. For fat-free breakfast, make omelet after removing egg yolk. One can add different vegetables into it to add more flavour and goodness to it.

For family serving, whisk 10 large egg whites in a bowl. Add 2 cup of skimmed milk, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of grounded black pepper, 1 chopped green pepper, and 2 chopped onions. Mix them all well and pour them into a baking dish. Bake at 200 C° or 400 F° (gas mark 6) for 25 minutes or until it starts popping or turns golden.
