What's Tea Tree Oil and Why It's Used for Treating Eczema?

Tea tree oil can be mixed with a carrier oil like coconut oil or olive oil. Mix 12 drops of tea tree oil in 30 ml of carrier oil; massage this mixture on the scalp for a few minutes. Both essential oils are quite good at treating eczema. Lavender oil has extraordinary anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. It may help in killing bacteria and can fight infections. It just not only cleanse the skin but also reduces irritation.

As both are essential oils so it's better to mix them with a carrier oil to avoid any side effects. Mix 6 drops of tea tree oil and 6 drops of lavender oil in 30 ml carrier oil. For a better result, use it daily as required.

Bath can make eczema worse and it's not easy to take bath when the skin is eczema prone. There are a few measure that can be taken to avoid making eczema worse. Avoid using bath soaps as they make skin dryer and irritated. Also, bath water temperature should not be hot or cold, it's best to have a tepid water. Use bath products that are made for eczema prone skin. Add 10-15 drops of pure Tea tree oil in the bath to heals the body's cells. After bath, generously apply Tea tree oil mixture to the body.
